Budbrooke privacy policy (Android)

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Who we are

Budbrooke is developed and published by Richelle H. Onda, an individual developer trading as iwilldream Studios. iwilldream Studios is a trading name, not a company. Richelle H. Onda is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, which means she decides how and why it is used. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Richelle H. Onda, trading as iwilldream Studios.

The short version

Your game progress (stored on your device)

Your progress, settings and purchases you have unlocked are saved in the app's private storage on your phone or tablet. They are not sent to us.

Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes this saved progress. If you have Android's backup feature switched on, Android may include the app's data in your device backup to your Google Account. That backup is handled by Google under your Google Account settings; we cannot access it.

In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

Budbrooke is free to play and offers optional in-app purchases. All purchases are processed by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. We never receive your card number or other payment details.

When you buy something, Google Play tells the app which product you bought and gives it a purchase confirmation, so the app can deliver your items and let you restore one-time purchases later (Settings > Restore purchases). Google also makes limited order information available to us as the developer through the Google Play Console, such as the order number, the product, the price and the date, which we use for accounting, refunds and support.

Ads (Google AdMob)

Budbrooke shows rewarded videos only: a video plays only when you tap a "watch a video" button to earn a reward. There are no banner ads and no ads that appear on their own. Ad content is limited to Google's "G" (general audiences) rating.

The ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC and its affiliates). The Google Mobile Ads SDK starts when the app opens and loads a video in the background so one is ready if you ask for it. According to Google, the SDK automatically collects and shares with Google the following data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

Google uses this data to show, measure and (where you allow it) personalise ads, and to prevent fraud. This data goes to Google, not to us. We may see summary reports from AdMob (for example, how many videos were watched), which do not identify you.

Consent: where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are used.

Your choices: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android device settings (on most devices: Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads). You can also simply never tap a "watch a video" button; the whole game can be played without watching any ads.

Reminders, vibration and sharing

Internet use

The game's art, sounds and fonts are built into the app, and it can be played offline. The app connects to the internet only to talk to Google Play (for purchases) and Google AdMob (for reward videos and the consent message).

Children

Budbrooke is intended for players aged 13 and over. It has no chat, no user-generated content and no way to contact other players. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has sent us personal information (for example, by email), contact us at support@iwilldream.net and we will delete it.

Selling and sharing data

We do not sell your personal data. Apart from what Google Play and Google AdMob collect as described above, the app does not share any data with anyone.

Keeping and deleting data

We do not keep any player data on our own systems. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need it to help you, and we will delete it on request. Data collected by Google Play and Google AdMob is kept under Google's own policies; see https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Because the game does not send us your data, we usually hold nothing about you except emails you send us. Email support@iwilldream.net with any request and we will reply as soon as we can, and within one month.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "last updated" date above and, for important changes, mention it in the app's store listing.
